• Can I wear my keepsake every day?

Gold Plated and Rose Gold plated keepsakes are NOT suitable for everyday use. Gold plated or Rose Gold plated pieces are coated with a thin layer of gold, and good after care must be taken to maintain the integrity of the piece. If you want to wear your keepsake more often we recommend to choose white gold plated. 

925 Sterlin Silver is a good and durable material but it is NOT solid gold, so a good care of your keepsake it is paramount.

• What can you include in my keepsake?

The list is very long, I will try to list the most common items used:

-Breastmilk

Contact us here if what you would like to include in your jewel is not in the list. You can also mix multiples inclusions (for example: breastmilk and umbilical cord; Ashes and fur).

• How is my milk processed?

Once we receive your milk, it will be meticulously processed to eliminate bacteria and preserve it using chemical agents. It will then be subjected to a drying process that could last several days. Once the humidity has been eliminated, the milk is now in the form of crystals. At this point it will be crushed manually using a pestle and mortar until it is reduced to a very fine powder that will be used to create your precious milk stone. Milk stones will have different colors based on the composition of your milk, so it will be a truly unique jewel.

• How much breastmilk do you need?

We need aroud 5 - 6 mls of breastmilk. If your milk supply is low or you do not have enough milk please contact us here and we will see if the amount that you have can be enough.

• What if I want to order multiple items?

If you send us 5 - 6 mls of breastmilk it will be enough to make few items (depending on how big the stones are).

• What happen if you have leftover of my preserved breastmilk?

​We will keep your preserved breastmilk sealed in a bag and labelled with your details for 2 years as it is a very precious thing! So that if you decide to have another jewel in few months you can still do it even if your breastfeeding journey is over. 

​

• Can I use frozen breastmilk?

Absolutely. You can use breastmilk that has been in the freezer for years ! It will not be suitable for consumption but still good for your keepsake jewel.

• Can I use colostrum?

Yes. Although the stone might look slighly more yellow than breastmilk. However this is the beauty of this, as every piece is different!

• Can I use mouldy breastmilkmilk?

Unfortunately we cannot use mouldy breastmilk.

• Do I need to lookafter my jewel?

​Your keepsake will deserve careful attention to maintain its beauty. Do not expose it to water (wash hands, take shower, etc), do not wear it while you work out, sunbathe or sleep. We recommend storing your jewel in the velvet pouch provided. Avoid  direct exposure with chemicals (perfume, hairspray, lotion, etc), extreme temperatures and prolonged exposure to sunlight in order to prevent discoloration of the keepsake stone, preserving its charm and ensuring it remains a cherished piece for years to come.

• Can I costumize my Keepsake?

Yes. You can personalise the stone design by choosing a natural finish, or adding pearl shimmer, opal flakes, white shimmer. Unless you choose a natural finish, you can from one to all three finishes together, just make sure to write it on the notes when you are placing the order.​

• Do you offer returns or refunds?

Due to the type of product (a personalised item) we do not offer returns. If any of the birthstones / zirconia fall out from your keepsake, we will repair it or replace it within 2 weeks from purchase.
